Firstly, we act for Businesses on an project/ad hoc basis or alternatively under our monthly retainer. However, we do it, we are opposed to the long standing concept of hourly rates and time recording. As a result, whatever we do for our clients is on a pre-agreed fixed fee.
Our preference is to act for a client on a retained basis as this encourages a much closer working relationship and more frequent contact with you and your business. This enables us to become more familiar with your business and its needs. It also ensures that we are involved from the outset, meaning more time consuming and expensive problems are more easily avoided.
Whilst there is nothing new in the concept of a HR and Employment Retainer, we do claim 2 unique USPs:-
1) Unlike other companies, we do not require you to sign up for any lengthy contracts. Instead you are on a simple rolling monthly contract.
2) The biggest criticism we hear of other firms providing this service is that they refuse to give their opinion on the best way forward. We, on the other hand, promise to always have a view on something based on both the law and our commercial experience.
The retainer provides unlimited advice and support with no monthly caps so you can use the service as much as you need to without having concern about it incurring additional costs.
